How can I learn about AMICHIEN BONDING©?
Through her own work with desperate dog owners, Jan Fennell learned that the best way to introduce AMICHIEN BONDING© was in the home environment of the pack. She devised the “1-2-1” consultation to take place with the dog(s) and owners in their own home.

Dog owners learn methods of improving their dog's behavior.

 How long does the consultation take?
The consultation takes generally between two to four hours, during which time I will teach you the four basic principles of canine communication. It is helpful but not necessary if the owners have read Jan’s book “The Dog Listener”. I will help you understand why your dog misbehaves and how you can change the behavior in a positive, kind, and humane way.

When will I see a change in my dog’s behavior?
Because all dogs have distinctive personalities, improvement in their behavior can vary. The method is not a “magic pill”. It is an ongoing process and a way of life. Often times owners will see positive change in their dogs during the consultation. It is up to the owner to continue with the method after the consultation.
