The consultation takes generally between two to four hours,
during which time I will teach you the four basic principles
of canine communication. It is helpful but not necessary
if the owners have read Jan’s book “The Dog Listener”. I will help you understand why your dog
misbehaves and how you can change the behavior in a positive,
kind, and humane way. |

Because all dogs have distinctive personalities, improvement
in their behavior can vary. The method is not a “magic
pill”. It is an ongoing process and a way of life.
Often times owners will see positive change in their
dogs during the consultation. It is up to the owner
to continue with the method after the consultation.
